So, What’s Our Story?

Christine Xenakis

Founder and Principal Consultant

After years of navigating the fast-paced agency world with stints at M Booth, Edelman, and Ketchum, Christine Xenakis decided it was time to embrace her love for flexibility, wanderlust, and challenging projects. That’s when she took the leap and launched CX Communications.

Christine has worked with an incredible mix of clients—from global giants like Heineken and Google to trailblazing brands like Blue Apron and Jack & Annie's. Her sweet spot? The intersection of creative consumer brand campaigns and corporate business strategy—particularly in the CPG, food and beverage, and wellness spaces. It’s where media, consumers, and investors collide, and she thrives on making sure all those pieces work together seamlessly.

With expertise spanning corporate, consumer, and internal communications, Christine brings a unique perspective to every project—combining the best lessons (and dodging the usual pitfalls) from across industries. She’s a pro at translating corporate-speak into clear, relatable language that actually connects. Trusted by C-suite leaders, Christine knows how to cut through the noise and get to the point—sometimes with a touch of humor, because who says business has to be boring?

Fair warning: Christine will challenge the status quo and isn’t afraid to throw in a strategic plot twist. It’s not about being difficult—it’s about finding fresh, creative solutions. After all, the usual way of doing things is often just plain boring.

When she’s not diving into brand strategy or crafting corporate narratives, Christine is probably fostering a rescue dog, planning her next travel adventure, or working from wherever she can find good coffee and great Wi-Fi.

Adoptable Cedar

Chief Foster Officer and Principal Snack Taster

Every successful business needs a great listener, and at CX Communications, that’s Cedar, our Chief Foster Dog. Adoptable from the NYC ACC, Cedar has more than two years experience searching for her perfect forever home. Her specialty? Mastering the art of napping through chaos and motivating the team with long lunchtime walks (because fresh air = fresh ideas).

Cedar brings her A-game to every virtual meeting—she’s a natural on camera, unafraid to share her opinions (even if they’re delivered in barks). While she lacks opposable thumbs for taking notes, she compensates with her unmatched ability to listen as you rehearse pitches, brainstorm strategies, or overthink that one slide in the deck. She’s also a top-tier food product sampler, always ensuring our snacks pass her rigorous quality control standards.

This loyal and lovable colleague is the embodiment of team spirit, happily sharing your lunch and snacks. Whether you’re bouncing ideas off her or simply enjoying her company, Cedar proves that sometimes the best coworkers are the four-legged kind.

Cedar is still accepting applications for her forever home. Until then, she’s holding down the fort as CX Communications’ MVP (Most Valuable Pup).
